Call Objectives:
Support the creation of local/regional Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) across the EU by integrating Agri-food and Retail SMEs. The aim is to reduce and stabilize energy costs for participating SMEs through legal and technical consulting services, which may otherwise be inaccessible due to insufficient regional capacity or unaffordable costs.
Eligible Activities:
To be eligible, applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must:
- Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
- Be established in one of the following countries:
- EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
- Non-EU countries such as EEA countries, countries associated with the Single Market Programme, or countries in negotiation for an association agreement (effective before grant signature).
Available Budget: € 2,900,000
Number of Projects Funded: 3
Project Duration: 24 months (extensions possible if duly justified and through a Grant Agreement amendment).
Support Methodology:
- Organisation of calls for expressions of interest for third-party support.
- Provision of legal and technical services via the consortium or a voucher system for specific local services.
